Middle School Science Teachers
Summer 2007 Workshop with DOE ACTS (Department of Energy Academies Creating Teacher Scientists)
Program: Exploring the Physical Sciences, July 9 - August 3. This four week program for middle school science teachers will combine an introduction to the exciting research done by this laboratory with a series of inquiry-oriented and activity-based mini-workshops. Material and Equipment

CPEP: Contemporary Physics Education Project
CPEP is a non-profit group providing materials for teachers for teaching forefront science including wall charts on Fundamental Particle and Interactions and the Fate and History of the Universe among others, and information and links to support the use of these charts.
Equipment Donations
Institutions of higher education (such as a university, college, junior college, technical institute, or museum), may qualify to get electronic equipment from Department of Energy Labs, including SLAC, through the Energy Related Laboratory Equipment (ERLE) program. Through ERLE, eligible institutions have access to all of the DOE excessed lab equipment, obtaining items as a donation and only having to pay for shipping costs.
